The AI-Enabled Automotive Frontier Forum & 7th ASAM China Regional Conference has taken place. Over 80 participants, including regulators, ASAM specialists and representatives from Geely, SAIC, NIO, Nissan China, FAW-Volkswagen and other automotive firms, joined the launch of Shanghai’s pilot for vehicle AI standardization, to discuss how AI and automotive standards can advance together.
Technical Sharing
As an active ASAM member, Shanghai Desake Electronic Technology Co., Ltd. (DSA) gave a keynote address at the conference: ASAM SOVD — Latest Practices in Standardization and Application.
Combined with the software-defined vehicle trend, our talk covered the architecture and technical points of SOVD, shared real-world deployment cases from domestic automakers, and explored routes for next-gen in-vehicle diagnostics. It offers practical guidance for the local rollout of SOVD in China’s automotive sector.
Honor Awarded
An industry recognition ceremony was held during the conference. In recognition of its outstanding work in long-term, in-depth participation in the research of international automotive diagnostic standards and the promotion of domestic implementation of cutting-edge standards such as SOVD, DSA was awarded the 2026 Award for Contributions to Advanced Diagnostic Standards.
This honor fully acknowledges DSA’s continuous investment in the field of automotive diagnostic standardization. DSA has long been committed to building the ASAM standard ecosystem. It keeps translating international diagnostic standards including ODX, OTX and SOVD into implementable tools and project solutions, covering full-lifecycle diagnostic scenarios including vehicle R&D, production-line EOL testing and after-sales services. Going forward, DSA will continue to collaborate with industry partners to advance the co-development and sharing of diagnostic standards, and support the high-quality development of the domestic diagnostic system for software-defined vehicles.
